Privacy
The full privacy policy for the Stroke Index One app will be published here before it opens in spring 2027. It will explain what we store about you and your rounds, why, where, for how long, and your rights, including downloading your data and deleting your account. This page covers the website and the waitlist.
Who we are
Stroke Index One is run by Louis Tuft, trading as LTOpenDigital, who is responsible for your information (the “data controller”). Write to support@strokeindexone.com about anything on this page.
This website
This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages briefly keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the service secure. The only personal information it asks for is your email address, if you join the waitlist.
The waitlist
What we keep
Your email address, when you joined and confirmed, and which version of the sign-up wording you agreed to. Nothing else: not your name, and not your IP address.
Why, and on what basis
To email you when Stroke Index One opens. We use it for nothing else and never sell or share it. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box and confirming by email. You can withdraw it at any time.
How joining works
After you sign up we email you a link. Only once you click it are you on the list. If you don’t, your address is deleted after 7 days. This stops anyone adding someone else’s address.
How long we keep it
Until you leave the list, or three months after Stroke Index One opens, whichever comes first. Then the whole list is deleted.
Where it’s stored, and who helps us
The list is stored by Amazon Web Services in London, and the emails are sent through Amazon Web Services’ email service. Emails you send to support@strokeindexone.com pass through Amazon Web Services in Ireland (kept there for up to 14 days) and are read in Google’s Gmail. Both act only on our instructions.
Your rights
You can leave the list at any time with the link in any email we send, which deletes your address straight away. You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to support@strokeindexone.com. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
